Answer: Heels are not allowed in fitness classes.  However for feature students we prefer non-platform shoes not taller than 5 inches with a strap for balance purposes.

Question: Are there any risks?
Answer: With any activity there is an element of risk, and pole fitness is no different.  Please be aware of the following:
Bruises: The pole is metal and body parts may bump into the pole causing bruises. These usually go away very quickly, and as your body gets used to the spins, you will stop bruising yourself.
Pole friction (chaffing) /pole burn: This can sometimes be caused by gripping the pole too tightly.
Slipping: If you get hot or have very sweaty hands this can make it harder to grip. I have a product that you can use to counteract this effect.
Every effort is made to make your classes and sessions as safe and enjoyable as possible. However, you are also responsible for your own safety, so listen carefully to all instructions and listen to your own body.  If something doesn't feel right for you, then alternatives can be provided if you notify the instructor.

Question: I am interested in buying a dance pole to put in my home, where can I buy one?

Answer: You can purchase your dance pole with us, we give discounts to students!

Question: Do I need to own a pole to take a pole class?

Answer: You are not required to own a pole to take any of the pole classes. If you are serious about learning the art of pole dancing and do not have access to a pole, you may want to eventually purchase your own. We sell portable poles!  Check out our store!

Question: What does portable pole mean?

Answer:  This means that the pole is removable with no screws to hold it in place.  All XPoles are pressure mounted and can be set up anywhere there is a support beam to anchor it.  Portable also means that it comes with a case to travel with it!

Question: I rent an apartment/home, will there be any damage to my ceiling or floor?

Answer: No!  The pressure mount only needs a support beam and doesn't use and nails or screws to keep it in place!

Q
uestions:  What if my ceiling height is less than 8 feet?
Answer: XPole can go from 7'4" and up.

Question: Can I use the Pole on hardwood or tile floors?
Answer: XPoles are best on hard flooring because they have a tiny amount of give on a softer floor.  Although this will not alter the integrity of the pole, you may want to check the adjuster before every use to make sure the pole is stable.

Question: My pole is starting to look dirty. How do I clean it?
Answer: We recommend that you clean your pole with Ethanol Alcohol.  If you cannot find Ethanol use Isoproprl Alcohol.  Ethanol makes the pole more sticky.  Another tip if you live in a dry climate- run a humidifier in your pole dancing room to make the pole stickier.  Just make sure to clean your hands with alcohol to prevent sweat from loosening your grip.

Question: What is Pole Champ Inc's mission statement?

Answer: To provide a safe environment for women to learn the feminine side of fitness and provide a safe learning experience for those that are ready to accelerate their dancing businesses!
